Naflafiwrimo Day 11: Box Number Three

Another 50 word story. I actually wrote this earlier in the month but today’s one is taking a while to finish. Hopefully it will be ready tomorrow. (Aren’t you excited?)

Box Number Three

‘I’ll take box number three, please.’

The host opens it up, the audience hold their breath.

‘It’s unconditional happiness!’ he says. Sunlight bursts from the open box.

The contestant looks disappointed. ‘I was hoping for money or maybe love,’ she says. When she’s interviewed later, however, there are no complaints.
